Translate a reference shot into directions a video model can use.
ShotToPrompt is a focused tool for creators who can see the shot they want but need help expressing its camera language, motion, lighting, timing, and sound as an editable prompt.
Why it exists
A video is more than a list of visible objects. Recreating its feel requires choices about framing, movement, rhythm, lens character, light, texture, action, and audio. ShotToPrompt makes those choices explicit, then formats the same creative intent for Universal, Veo, Kling, and Seedance workflows.
What it does—and does not do
The tool analyzes observable features in a short clip and writes a new prompt. It cannot recover the original prompt, guarantee an identical result, or determine the private production process behind a video. Every output is editable and should be treated as a practical starting point.
How it is built
ShotToPrompt uses Google Gemini for video and audio understanding. Uploaded video bytes are sent for that analysis request but are not written to the ShotToPrompt database. The service stores limited operational data and generated results as described in the Privacy Policy.
